About the Event

Upstream Collective Specialty Cohort - Developing a Holistic City Engagement Strategy for the Sending Church

Led by Larry McCrary

Many of us have been in a holding pattern in terms of travel for the last 1.5 years. As travel becomes more available, we decided to open up our Madrid cohort for early 2022. We believe now is the time to start putting solid plans in place for your church as you determine where God is leading you to be on mission. We can't tell you where to go, but we will do all we can to help you engage that place well.

Come to a world class European city to sharpen your skills in developing a comprehensive engagement strategy as a church for a particular place or people. We'll immerse ourselves in a city and culture. We'll learn much from each other and from believers in the city who are intentionally trying to engage the people with the gospel. We'll also discuss how to discover potential partnerships and help you develop a strategy for your church to engage a city of your choice anywhere in the world. Each day we'll study important biblical passages that will help you put together a sending church hermeneutic and discuss invaluable leadership principles for leading your church in missions.

On-site Sessions Include:

Discovering the City By Mapping

Developing a Vision and Prayer Strategy
