Our goal at Upstream is to help churches do missions better. Often this starts with the missions leader of the church. Exemplifying Christ-like character and strong leadership are certainly the most important qualities to be developed and exhibited in a missions leader. Beyond this another critical area of leadership is Productivity. While that may feel like a naughty word for some, the goal of productivity is to live out 1 Corinthians 10:31: “Whatever you do, whether in word or in deed, do it all for the glory of God.” Productivity is not just about organization, it’s about using your time, talents, and gifts to their max capacity.
